Auch Nanovirenclustertorpedo genannt, trugen Torpedos dieser Bauart in der Schlacht um Unimatrix 001 entscheidend zum Sieg gegen die Borg bei. Die caligonischen Naniten, entwickelt aus Nanoviren der Borg, sind in der Lage, die meisten Formen von Materie auf die sie treffen, zu penetrieren. Dies schließt Schiffshüllen und organische Materie ein, weswegen es vielleicht nicht schlecht ist, dass diese Torpedohülle leer ist.<br />
